When We Went Down to the Woods Today…

When we went down to the woods the other day now, we found many exciting things to marvel at and enjoy. Through the mossy brambly undergrowth a hint of spring colour was stirring and leapt from the muted pallet of a long winter into our explorations.  There was a waterfall, a cave, sticks and more sticks, plus cakes and warming drinks oh and a horse…

Lovely photos of what was clearly a wonderful time in the woods. Perfect for Country Kids. How do you get that red to show on an almost black and white photo, it is so effective?

Beautiful. I love the hints of colour, just perfect! I used to love going for walks in the woods as a kid. My brother and i would pretend to be detectives and look for clues, or knights with swords, or archeologists – either way, sticks are always essential.

    • thepuffindiaries April 9, 2013 / 5:25 pm

Thank you, we on few walks where sticks are not central to the fun.
